Project Description:
Distributing weekly text message updates to Global-Potential friends and family regarding the participants experiences during the six week exchange. The aim is to interweave personal experience and raising awareness on a given issue. Text is limited to 160 characters but has the distinct advantage of having close to 100% participation. Our goal to draw an audience from NYC into a discussion about issues in and around their contact to the Global-Potential project.
Difficulties:
Getting enough across to users in a couple texts to convince them to look further-
Advantages:
The audience is already emotionally connected to the subject. Just need to take them beyond their friend or family.
